Adena 3, Zane Trace Pioneers 1: Adena won 23-25, 26-24, 25-23, 26-16

For Adena, Kortney Sowers had 16 points, five aces, and seven digs. Jacey Smith had 13 points, two aces, two kills and 41 digs. Kamryn Sowers had 12 points and 20 digs. Kayla Grooms had 12 points, one ace and 13 digs. Kimmy Dalton had 12 points, two aces and 36 digs. Katie Burns had 12 points, one ace, 28 kills and nine digs.

No individual stats were reported for Zane Trace.

Unioto 3, Paint Valley 0: Unioto won 25-10, 25-7, 25-14

Southeastern 3, Piketon 0: The Lady Panthers won 25-10, 25-7, 25-14

Huntington 3, Westfall 2: The Lady Huntsmen won 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 15-7

Chillicothe 3 Washington 0: Chillicothe won 25-11 25-13 25-20

Valley 2, Waverly 3: The Lady Tigers won 17-25, 25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 15-3

Boys golf

Wednesday's results

Tucker Taylor of Huntington and Southeastern's Aiden King have both advanced from the Division III boys sectional held at Jaycees Golf Course. The top five teams and the top five individuals on non-qualifying teams advance.

Taylor shot 84, which was good for 10th place overall. King shot 87, which put him in 15th.

Christian Heath of Adena just missed advancing, shooting a 90.

Thursday's results

Piketon advanced as a team from the Division II sectional at Elks Country Club. The top five teams and the top five individuals on non-qualifying teams advance.

Piketon finished fifth with a team score of 337. They were led by Brevin Wooldridge who shot 76, Hunter Skaggs who shot 78, Jace Ritchie shot 89, Kole Keller shot 94 and Trenton Day shot 94. Wooldridge was tied for second overall for the tournament.

In addition to Piketon, Caden Corkeron of Waverly advanced as an individual after shooting 83.
