Josh Naylor, Jose Ramirez go back-to-back

A few pitches later, Josh Naylor followed Ramirez with a solo home run of his own.

Jhonkensy Noel blasts three-run home run

The time might be coming for Jhonkensy Noel to have a spot in the everyday lineup.

Noel just absolutely crushed a three-run home run that has chased Jon Gray from the game in the third inning.

The Guardians have opened up a 7-1 lead, and this is a night the offense badly needed. That was Noel's 11th home run in 40 games this season.

The Guardians offense is showing signs of life.

Guardians, Rangers score update: Josh Naylor ties it against Jon Gray

Jose Ramirez made up for the defensive miscue in the bottom of the first.

With Steven Kwan already on first, Ramirez singled to right field to put runners on the corners with one out. Ramirez then took off for second base as Josh Naylor hit a ground ball to the right side. Ramirez running took the doubleplay out of the equation, allowing Kwan to score and tie it 1-1.

Jose Ramirez error gives Rangers the lead over Guardians; Texas scores in first inning

It was a busy beginning for Guardians starter Ben Lively, who threw 33 pitches in the first inning alone.

With the bases loaded and two out, Lively was nearly able to escape the inning unscathed, but Jose Ramirez couldn't corral a ground ball, and that error allowed the Rangers to take a 1-0 lead.
