With Cody Williams set to join Jalen, who are the best brother duos in NBA history?

A pair of Thunder players will hear their brothers’ names announced Wednesday as first-round picks in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Alex Sarr, the brother of Thunder two-way contract center Olivier Sarr, is expected to be a top-three pick. Cody Williams, the brother of Jalen Williams, is projected to be a lottery pick.

Cody Williams might even be the Thunder’s pick at No. 12.

5. Bernard and Albert King

Bernard was the NBA’s scoring champion in 1984-85. He averaged 32.9 points per game and finished seventh in the MVP voting. The year before, Bernard finished second for MVP behind Larry Bird.

Bernard was a four-time All Star and made four All-NBA teams.

While not a hall of famer like his older brother, Albert had a solid nine-year career. He spent his first six seasons with the Nets, averaging 13.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Stephen Curry, the face of the Warriors dynasty, revolutionized the game with his 3-point shot.

The four-time NBA champ and two-time MVP is the best shooter ever.

His brother isn’t bad, either.

Seth, a journeyman who’s played for nine teams, is a career 43.1% 3-point shooter. His 3-point percentage has ranked in the top-10 of the league in five of his 10 seasons.

3. Dominique and Gerald Wilkins

Dominique is a hall of famer and member of the NBA’s 75th anniversary team. He was a nine-time All Star, seven-time All-NBAer and one of the most electric dunkers we’ve ever seen.

Dominique is the reason the Wilkinses rank this high, but Gerald was no slouch.

Gerald played 13 NBA seasons and was a full-time starter for the Knicks from 1985-92.

2. Tom and Dick Van Arsdale

The Van Arsdale twins were drafted back-to-back in the 1965 draft — Tom by the Pistons and Dick by the Knicks.

Both were named to the All-Rookie team. Both were three-time All Stars. Tom played in 929 career games. Dick played in 921.

They were teammates in Phoenix in 1976-77, the last season of their careers.

Nine All-Star appearances, six All-NBA nods and three NBA titles between the Spanish brothers, both of whom began their careers in Memphis, where they developed into star centers.

Pau Gasol played 18 seasons. He was the second option to Kobe Bryant on the Lakers’ back-to-back 2009 and 2010 title teams. Pau ranks inside the top-50 all time in career points, rebounds and blocks. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame last summer.

While Pau was the No. 3 pick in the 2001 draft, Marc was a second-round selection in 2007. He’s among the best second-round picks in NBA history.

Marc was the Defensive Player of the Year in 2012-13. He was a cornerstone of the Grit and Grind Grizzlies and won a championship with the Raptors in 2019.
