Colin From Accounts stars address show's future
Colin from Accounts stars Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall have shared their hopes for season 3.
The real-life husband and wife duo are behind the wholesome Aussie rom-com series, which has just debuted its second instalment in the UK. Dyer and Brammall star as protagonists Ashley Mulden and Gordon Crapp, two strangers who have a meet-cute involving a dog, who they later adopt and name Colin from Accounts.
Speaking with What to Watch, the show's co-creators said they'd be on board with a third season, though they're still yet to have it officially greenlit.

"I certainly hope so. We heard that it got 50% more viewers than season 1," Dyer said, to which Brammall added: "In Australia."
"Which is massive for that platform, and I think we've been told to expect a call," Dyer continued, explaining that the second chapter ends in such a way that fans would want to know more.
"The call hasn't come yet, but we are quietly confident. And season 2 ends in such a way that people will be cross!" Dyer continued, admitting they've "forced [the network's] hand" a bit.
"Yeah, we certainly leave it open for a third," Brammall added.

When the show was renewed for round two, the couple said they were "thrilled" to go back to filming, though that meant they'd have to leave their real dog back home in the US.
"We are thrilled to be back playing Ashley and Gordon running amok in the streets of Sydney. We are just sad we had to leave our actual dog in America," Dyer and Brammall shared. "Doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the show, but here we are."
Perhaps their actual pup could be written into a possible season three? We're not sure how Zak and Buster, the two dogs who play Colin, will take it, but it could be an interesting canine crossover.
