Coronation Street's Daisy declares love for Daniel

Daisy Midgeley has declared her love for former boyfriend Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street.
Last week, Ryan Connor ended his relationship with Daisy because he knew she still had feelings for Daniel. While Daisy insisted she loved Ryan, she later conceded his suspicions were correct.
Monday's episode (September 23) intertwined the couple's storyline with life-changing events for Daniel's current girlfriend Bethany Platt.
Daniel dropped in at the Rovers to check on Daisy after hearing that her relationship with Ryan had hit the rocks. Daisy took the opportunity to reveal how she truly felt.

"It can't be that earth-shattering, Daniel, we were going to get married," Daisy reminded him.
Daniel was receiving repeated calls from Bethany, but tried to hash things out with Daisy rather than answer his girlfriend's messages.
"I understand that feelings don't go away, but they do change," he explained. "I'm sorry. I'm with Bethany now."
As punters started turning up for a drink, Daisy put on a brave face and assured Daniel: "It's okay. I'm okay."
Later, Daniel received a call from an unknown phone number and learned that Bethany was in intensive care following her trip to Turkey.
Daniel broke the news to Sarah Platt that they needed to get to Turkey immediately. Sarah started to pack but realised she couldn't go due to an expired passport.
Sarah was left behind to be consoled by Audrey while Daniel headed for the airport. Daisy overheard Carla trying to comfort Sarah in the pub.
When Sarah mentioned that the hospital had informed Daniel about the emergency, Daisy blurted out that he'd ignored multiple calls from Bethany earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Daniel was able to get to the hospital, where he reported to Sarah that Bethany had contracted sepsis after a botched liposuction procedure.
The soap has previously confirmed that Bethany's health emergency will have life-changing consequences for her in this long-running storyline.
