We can basically see the comments already. "Halloween decorations already? It's June!" And you have a point: Halloween is more than three months away so, yes, it is early. But if you enthusiastically wait all year for spooky season, is it ever too soon to pick out frightening fripperies? The answer is no, and Costco is right there with you: it released a gigantic, ground-breaking skeleton earlier this month.

When you think of supersized skeletons, you might think about the one Home Depot notoriously sells. At 12-feet-tall, the barrel of bones is unmissable as it looms over homes and trick-or-treaters alike. But if you feel like the iconic Home Depot skeleton became a tad overplayed, the one that Costco is selling will leave you at the edge of your seat.

Unlike the one Home Depot sells, which shows a skeleton from head to toe, Costco's version creates the illusion of a spooky set of bones bursting out of the ground. Though it might only display the head to the ribs, it packs a punch at a whopping five-feet-tall and nine-feet-long. Not only does this skeleton have glowing eyes for the ultimate spook factor, but it's also sound- and motion-sensored so it will emit spine-tingling music when someone walks by. Don't worry: If music isn't your thing, you can turn it off, adjust the volume, or set the timer to automatically shut off after six hours.

Releasing a supersized skeleton in July is early, but Costco fans are pumped. "This thing is bigger than my car but I don't care, I NEED IT," one Instagramer commented on Currently Costco's reel, which displays the find. "It’s never to early!!!! I love Halloween," wrote another. A third even said, "I hope everyone hates on this so much so I can make sure that it doesn’t sell out."

Though you can currently buy the Giant Ground Breaking Skeleton on Costco's website for $330, some physical locations are offering the same setup for $80 less. However, if you want to get a good deal without going on a wild goose chase, you can shop these Amazon alternatives (and enjoy expedited shipping with your Prime membership), below.
