Cuyahoga Falls sports bar Punts & Pints to shut its doors Monday
A popular Cuyahoga Falls sports bar will soon shut its doors, according to a post on its Facebook page.
Deanna Jones, the owner of Punts & Pints, which was formerly The Red Fox, shared that the last day of business will be Monday, July 15.
"It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close our doors permanently on 7/15/24," the post reads. "Life-altering events as well as my retirement are the primary reasons for my decision for those whom are wondering why."
It goes on to thank customers for years of support and how difficult it was to make the decision.
The Beacon Journal has reached out to Jones for further comment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant experienced a delay on its remodeling process, but Jones told the Beacon Journal in 2022 that she and her team didn't want to give up on their dreams of transforming the place.
Jones said she wanted to cater to those looking for sports and food on the front part of the restaurant, and a family dining experience in the back part.
Many people shared their condolences on the post, expressing how much they will miss it.
Punts & Pints is located at 1767 State Road, in Smith Centre Plaza.
Hours for the remainder of the week will be:
Friday: Noon - 2:30 a.m.
Saturday: Noon - 2:30 a.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Monday: 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
