Scoring plays: How Philadelphia Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-23
The Philadelphia Eagles remain in charge of the NFC East.
The defending champions beat the visiting Dallas Cowboys 28-23 on Sunday at Lincoln Field. The victory improves the Eagles to 8-1 while the Cowboys dropped to 5-3 at the midway point of the season.
With nine games remaining, the Cowboys certainly have the opportunity to catch the Eagles for the division. But it will be very difficult.
The Cowboys return to action on Nov. 12 when they host the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium at 3:25 p.m.
