Demi Moore shared an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis amid his ongoing dementia battle. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday, the actor reminisced with Barrymore about working together on the 2003 film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, in which Willis had a small role.

“When we did Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he opens up the film, and we got to work with him,” Barrymore reminded Moore, who admitted she “totally forgot about that.” The talk show host proceeded to ask Moore about Willis’s health, to which Moore replied, “Given the givens, he is in a stable place.”

The actor was married to Willis from 1987 to 2000, and together, they share three daughters (Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30). In April 2022, the Willis family revealed that Bruce was stepping away from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a communication disorder that affects the production or comprehension of speech. It can also affect the ability to read or write. Nearly a year after the initial announcement, Willis's wife Emma Heming shared that his condition had worsened to a “more specific diagnosis” of frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

“What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at,” Moore continued to share with Barrymore. “You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment. And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness.” The actor also revealed that she visits Willis “every week” when she’s in Los Angeles. “I really treasure the time that we all share,” she concluded.
