Detroit Lions' Dan Campbell shows off serving skills in new Applebee’s ad

Detroit Lions fans are used to seeing Dan Campbell calling plays on the sidelines, but in a new Applebee's ad, the coach takes on a different role, a server.

The 30-second ad features Campbell instructing customers to cover their face when giving their order, similar to what a coach would do when calling a play.

The ad promotes Applebee’s 50-cent boneless wings just before the start of the NFL season.

Campbell and the Detroit Lions will play the Los Angeles Rams in a rematch of last season’s Wild Card game Sunday at 8:20 p.m. on NBC.
