Any day now, Barron Trump will be moving from Mar-a-Lago to a college dorm.

Earlier this summer, many watched on social media as the youngest child of Donald Trump graduated from high school in West Palm Beach and have been wondering what his next moves will be. Will he follow in his father's footsteps and go to the University of Pennsylvania? Or will he forge a new path and go a different school from his family members?

But before getting into any of that, many had questions about the private school the 18-year-old graduated from — Oxbridge Academy. The college-preparatory school has had an extra bright spotlight on it with Barron's attendance.

Here's what to know about the academy and what Barron's future plans might be.

Where is the Oxbridge Academy?

Oxbridge Academy is on a 54-acre campus off Military Trail just west of West Palm Beach, about eight miles from Mar-a-Lago.

The private school was started in 2011 by billionaire and founder of Oxbow Carbon LLC, William I. Koch. He has donated more than $100 million since the school’s inception over a decade ago.

According to U.S. News and World Report, the student population of Oxbridge Academy is 502.

Wondering what makes Oxbridge Academy so special? The college-preparatory school houses grades 6 through 12, offering several top education, sports and arts programs.

"Offering a challenging, dynamic curriculum, enriching environment, and expert faculty, Oxbridge Academy applies an interdisciplinary academic approach while fostering the development of extraordinary leaders, thinkers, problem-solvers, and world-changers," the school says online. "Oxbridge offers a world-class education, an enriching culture, and experiential learning opportunities within an inclusive community."

Its website also notes that its graduating classes have received 100% acceptance to four-year colleges and universities, with 50% attending a top-100 university or a top-50 liberal arts college.

How much does it cost to go to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach?

U.S. News and World Report details the school requires a roughly $34,800 yearly tuition. They do offer financial aid to students.

One of the more recognizable faces from Oxbridge Academy is Chicago Bears special teams player and running back Travis Homer. A West Palm Beach native, he graduated from the school in 2016 and went on to play football for the University of Miami. After college, he was a sixth-round 2019 draft pick of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks where he played four years until being signed as a free agent by the Bears in 2023.

The school also highlighted siblings Shirah and Michael Benarde for making Forbes 2024 "30 under 30" list in the Retail & E-Commerce category. Their company, NightCap, sells drink-spiking prevention scrunchies and even secured a deal with QVC mogul Lori Greiner on the TV show "Shark Tank."

When did Barron Trump graduate from Oxford Academy?

Barron Trump was among the 116 seniors who received their diplomas in the private prep school's graduating Class of 2024 on Friday, May 17.

Both Donald and Melania Trump attended the ceremony, which school officials said was private and by invitation only. Oxbridge Academy sent out a statement days prior acknowledging "the heightened interest in this year’s event," not mentioning the Trumps by name.

What college will Barron Trump attend?

As of Monday, Aug. 5, it has not been announced where Barron Trump will attend college, but going to university is his next step, his father, former President Donald Trump confirmed July 9, 2024, at a rally in Doral, Florida.

"He's now going to college, got into every college he wanted to," Donald Trump said of his youngest son. "He made his choice and he is a very good guy."

Barron Trump's half-siblings — Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump (born to Donald Trump and Ivana Trump) and Tiffany Trump (born to Donald Trump and Marla Maples) — have ties to the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
