The freebies will only be available during a two-hour window, and no purchase is necessary.

Giveaway hours vary by location, so customers are encouraged to confirm with their local Dippin’ Dots ahead of time.

“There’s nothing better than free ice cream to kick back and enjoy a hot summer day,” Steve Rothenstein, associate vice president of franchising for Dippin’ Dots, said in a statement. “We want to celebrate our favorite day of the year alongside our customers.”
