East Providence hosts first Restaurant Week with over 35 eateries. Check out these deals

East Providence is shining a light on its vibrant restaurant scene with its first-ever restaurant week running now through Saturday, June 22. More than 35 restaurants are participating. They range from delis to fine dining establishments and breweries to pizzerias. There are sports bars participating, as well as Portuguese, Italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants.

The tour of East Providence’s culinary best, with exclusive menus and special offerings, was organized by the city. It's no doubt fueled to help overcome challenges that come with the Washington Bridge closure and traffic issues that resulted in a loss of business for some restaurants.

The deals vary from fixed-price lunches or dinners, discounted meals, gift card bonuses and even free items. Many of the special deals are posted online at the official website at epbestinbusiness.com/restaurantweek. All the restaurants are listed on the site.
