Eastwood to face this California high school football power to open the 2024 season

The Eastwood football program likes to take on the best programs in Texas in non-district play.

In the 2024 opener, the Troopers will venture out of state when it opens the season at St. John's Bosco on Aug. 30 at Panish Family Stadium in Bellflower, California.

St. John's Bosco is routinely one of the top schools in the country and typically ranked about the top 25 teams.

In years past, Eastwood has taken on the likes of Southlake Carroll and Plano in the early stages of the year.

Eastwood went 9-2 last year and won the District 1-6A title.
