Eddie Murphy Poses for Rare Family Photo With Fiancée and 3 of His Daughters on the Red Carpet

Eddie Murphy went on a rare family outing this week to celebrate the premiere of his latest movie.

The actor and comedian stars in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, the fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. Less than two weeks before the film’s release, the father of 10 attended its premiere in Los Angeles on Thurs., June 20, where he walked the red carpet with some very special guests.

Murphy posed for photos on the red carpet wearing black pants and a black jacket over a black shirt. He paired the look with matching black shoes and dark sunglasses. Standing next to him in a strapless red dress and black heels was his partner, Paige Butcher. Murphy has been engaged to the Australian model since 2018.

The couple were joined by three of Murphy’s daughters: Bria, 34; Shayne, 29; and Bella, 22. Bria, Murphy’s oldest daughter who also appears in the film, wore a teal flower-print dress and black heels. Her younger sister Shayne wore a matching skintight teal dress and teal heels, while Bella matched her father in a black dress and black heels.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F arrives 40 years after Beverly Hills Cop was released in 1984 and 30 years since the third film in the series was released. While promoting the movie during an appearance earlier his week on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Murphy told host Seth Meyers that he believes there was an issue with the third film that was fixed this time around with the introduction of a new cast member.

“One of the things that makes Beverly Hills Cop work—because the first two Beverly Hills Cops are really good, and the third one is a little soft, and it’s because we didn’t have a great villain,” Murphy explained. "And now you’ve got this great villain in Kevin Bacon."

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is due out on Netflix on July 3.
