The transparent trend doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon. And as see-through clothing continues to inundate runways, red carpets, and our social media feeds, Emma Stone just gave the fad a much-needed refresh.

At the New York City premiere of her newest movie, Kinds of Kindness, Stone joined her costars on the red carpet in a vampy black gown pulled straight from Louis Vuitton’s recent Resort 2025 runway.

The sweeping dress was mostly made out of a netted mesh embellished with tiny polka dots everywhere, with the lightweight material draping across her torso and down her shoulders. At her sides were two abdominal cutouts that wrapped just beneath her rib cage, and at her front were long panels covered in the French fashion house’s iconic checkerboard print.

Stone and her stylist, Petra Flannery, kept things simple with the rest of the outfit. She paired the statement dress with black boy shorts and strappy black heels underneath, then completed the look with diamond stud earrings.

The Oscar-winning actor seems to be leaning into moody and gothic colors for the Kinds of Kindness press tour.

Earlier in the day, she made an appearance on The Tonight Show in a striking oxblood leather midi dress designed by Brandon Maxwell. The strapless dress featured a slick, glossy finish, ruffled details underneath the bust, and a belt with a marbled heart-shaped buckle. She coordinated the dress with some strappy scarlet heels, maroon shades, a small Louis Vuitton bag, and gold hoop earrings.
