Anyma Adds Sphere Dates as First Electronic Act to Stage a Residency at the Las Vegas Venue

After scheduling six sold-out shows at Las Vegas’ state-of-the-art Sphere venue, musician Anyma has extended his run as the first electronic act to stage a residency at the space.

The Afterlife presents Anyma show has added Jan. 10 and 11 to the docket, which already includes shows on Dec. 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and Jan. 1. Anyma joins the inaugural batch of musicians to perform at the space, including Dead & Co., Eagles, Phish and U2.

Anyma is the performing alias of Matteo Milleri, who launched the project back in 2021 as an audio-visual project. Aside from a trio of EPs and a pair of albums — last year’s “Genesys” and this year’s “Genesys II” — Anyma has excelled in the live space, where his songs are elevated by cutting-edge visuals and an eye-popping stage setup.

He has also released remixes of Fred Again’s Future-featuring hit “Turn on the Lights Again” and Lana Del Rey’s “Say Yes to Heaven.” With Carmine Conte (aka MRAK), he is one half of the Berlin-based electronic duo Tale of Us; he is also co-founder of Afterlife Records and has 2.1 million followers on Instagram.

For the Sphere residency, Anyma is collaborating with art director Alessio De Vecchi, executive producer Alexander Wessely and additional animation from studio Woodblock. Special guests are expected to appear during the shows.

So far, shows at Sphere have been a visual spectacular, with artists transforming the live music experience. The venue features what the announcement touts as the “world’s highest-resolution LED display [with] its advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by Holoplot.”
