Emmys 2024 Poll: Who Should Win for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series?

A pair of The Bear’s stars headline the race for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at this year’s Emmys. But perhaps you’d like to see the full menu, hmmm?

Ebon Moss-Bachrach won the Emmy last year for playing irritable pal Richie on Hulu’s restaurant dramedy, and he’s the frontrunner again this year after a stellar Season 2. He’s joined by co-star Lionel Boyce, who was highlighted in a beautiful standalone episode as pastry chef Marcus. They’ll have competition, though, from a couple of three-time nominees: Tyler James Williams, for playing deadpan teacher Gregory on ABC’s Abbott Elementary; and Bowen Yang, for his various roles on NBC’s sketch-comedy institution Saturday Night Live.

Also in the running this year are a couple of handsome Pauls: Paul Rudd earned his first acting Emmy nod for playing conceited actor Ben Glenroy in the latest season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, and Paul W. Downs also nabbed his first career acting nod as talent manager Jimmy on Max’s showbiz comedy Hacks. (Downs has previously been nominated for writing and producing Hacks, including a win in 2021.)

Would you like to see one of The Bear’s stars take home the Emmy when they’re handed out on Sunday, Sept. 15 on ABC? Or do your tastes lie with a different flavor? We want to know what you think: Vote for your favorite in the poll below, and then hit the comments to defend your pick.
