Sabrina Carpenter Is the Niece of Bart Simpson Voice Actor Nancy Cartwright
Sabrina Carpenter has a special connection to The Simpsons.
In a new TikTok video, Nancy Cartwright -- who has voiced Bart Simpson for over three decades -- finally confirmed her relation to the "Please Please Please" singer.
In a reply to a follower who asked, "Is Sabrina Carpenter your niece?," Cartwright excitedly revealed the answer.
"Yeah, absolutely," she exclaimed as a picture of her and Carpenter popped up on the screen. "Isn't it amazing to find out that somebody you have known for a little while, doing this little 10-year old-boy for 35 years -- and some of you guys for, like, way less than that, I'm related to this, like, superstar."
Cartwright had nothing but praise for her niece.
"She's pretty amazing," she said at the end of her video.

The veteran voice actress captioned the video, "The rumors are true! Sabrina Carpenter is my niece! 🥰#sabrinacarpenter #bartsimpson #celebrities @Sabrina Carpenter."
Cartwright didn't go into further detail about how she and the "Nonsense" songstress are related. Carpenter has also yet to speak out about this other little claim to fame.
Before becoming a Billboard Hot 100 pop star, Carpenter got her start on TV. The "Espresso" singer starred on Disney Channel's Girl Meets World and also did voice work on Phineas and Ferb.

For her part, Cartwright has voiced Bart Simpson on The Simpsons since 1989. She's also voiced Chuckie Finster from Rugrats, Rufus in Disney Channel's Kim Possible, and more.
Carpenter has had some A-list support in her corner, ranging from her Oscar-nominated boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, to former Eras Tour tourmate Taylor Swift.
Last month, Carpenter spoke to Rolling Stone about her relationship with the "Bad Blood" songstress.

"I hold her to such a different echelon," she said of Swift. "I could never compare my life, my career, my trajectory to anything close to what she's done."
"She always puts out music at a time where I didn’t realize I needed those songs," Carpenter told Rolling Stone. "We're very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration.… She played me 'But Daddy I Love Him' before it came out, and that's also one of my favorites."
