In 2023, Kourtney Kardashian Barker became a mom of four.

The then 45-year-old media personality, style icon, and businesswoman welcomed a son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, with her husband, the Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The eldest Kardashian sibling also shares three children with her ex-partner, Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick.

Since first becoming a mom in 2009, the Lemme founder maintained that it’s her favorite role in life. “It has changed me and made me realize there is nothing else I would rather do with my time,” she told Parents in 2012. “Being a mom is what life is about.”

For the Poosh founder, the best part of motherhood is that it has allowed her to revisit her experiences as a kid. “I actually think my favorite part [of being a mom] is that you relive your own childhood—going to Disneyland and watching all the movies I watched when I was a kid,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2015. “I have so many of the books we read when we were little…It's really fun—you almost get to be a kid again and do all those magical things.”

Kardashian has also said that her kids are her number one priority. “What's most important is knowing that they're my priorities, no matter what's happening—they always come first,” she said.

Opening up about her parenting style, Kardashian has stressed the importance of being present with her kids. "I always try my absolute best when I'm with my kids not to be on my phone,” she told Vogue Arabia in 2020. “To be present in what we're doing, and have those moments where you're looking in each other's eyes and connecting.”

Today, Kardashian and Barker have formed a blended family with their respective children; the drummer also has a 20-year-old son, Landon, and an 18-year-old daughter, Alabama, with Shanna Moakler, his ex-wife. Barker is also a father figure to Moakler's oldest child, a 25-year-old daughter named Atiana De La Hoya.

Below, learn about the eldest Kardashian sibling’s four children, Mason, Penelope, Reign, and Rocky Thirteen.

Mason Disick

Mason Dash Disick, Kardashian’s first child with her ex-partner, Scott Disick, was born on December 14, 2009, in Los Angeles. A much-talked-about episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, then in its fourth season, featured his delivery. At the time, Kardashian and Disick were navigating difficulties in their relationship, but ultimately, the two reunited for his birth.

According to PEOPLE, in October 2016, Kardashian said that, during Mason’s delivery, she didn’t let the show’s camera crews into the delivery room; Disick actually filmed the footage shown in the episode. “Scott was filming it for our own purposes, like for a home movie,” she said. “The birth of my son was such a beautiful experience that I really wanted to share it with people because it was my child. I remember being so terrified to give birth because you see in movies everyone is screaming…it was so crazy and my experience was amazing. I just felt something in me wanted to share that with people.”

Despite Mason’s very public entrance into the world, Kardashian has rarely shared photos of her first-born son over the years. Why? Growing up, Mason preferred to stay out of his family’s bright limelight. "He does not like it,” Kardashian said during an October 2022 episode of the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat. “He doesn't want any part of it. He's not on social media. He doesn't love it, and I want my kids to be kids. I crave normalcy as much as we can have it, she added.  (Catch glimpses of him in the early seasons of KUWTK, on the Kardashian family Christmas card over the years, or making small cameos on his mom’s Instagram account.)

However, in May 2024, Mason had a change of heart and decided to join Instagram, quickly amassing more than 860,000 followers. On her own Instagram, Kardashian welcomed her son to the platform with a sweet post via Stories. "my first baby is on insta and I'm not ok," she wrote, adding two teary-eyed emojis and a red heart.

Penelope Disick

On July 8, 2012, Kardashian welcomed her second child, a daughter named Penelope Scotland Disick, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. According to E! News, Kardashian had an unmedicated birth. “Scott [Disick] and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives,” she told the outlet. “We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably.”

During her second pregnancy, Kardashian shared with PEOPLE that she had a bit more morning sickness than with Mason, her first child. “I think it’s a little bit harder being pregnant when you have a toddler I’m chasing after,” she added. “Last time I could nap more.”

Throughout Penelope’s childhood, Kardashian has taken to Instagram to share candid moments with her daughter, from her clever Halloween costumes (hello, Cher from Clueless!) to mother-daughter mani-pedi dates. A day after Penelope’s birthday in 2020, Kardashian accompanied a series of photos of her daughter with a heartfelt message: “This little lady...there really are no words to express,” she wrote. “I am in awe of everything about her, her thoughtfulness, her heart, her beauty inside and out, the way she takes care of people. Feeling so thankful to God for blessing me with her.”

Kardashian has also shared glimpses into Penelope’s birthday celebrations over the years. In 2023, they traveled to Hawaii to celebrate her 11th birthday; most recently, in July 2024, they celebrated her 12th birthday with a beach-themed bash in Laguna Beach, California. In honor of her daughter, Kardashian shared a sweet Instagram Reel featuring short clips of Penelope and her friends. “12 years young 🎈🌴🎡☀️🌊💘,” Kardashian wrote in the caption.

Kardashian has also shared that the name of her lifestyle website, Poosh, is a nod to her only daughter’s nickname.

Reign Disick

While pregnant with her third child in 2014, Kardashian opted to do a maternity shoot with the luxury lifestyle publication DuJour. "To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I'm not embarrassed of my body. I'm at my best when I'm pregnant,” she told the outlet. “It's such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There's something about that that's so empowering and beautiful and I just really embrace it."

Later that year, on December 14, Kardashian welcomed Reign Aston Disick, her third child with Scott Disick. (Fun fact: He actually shares a birthday with his older brother, Mason.) A week later, on December 21, Kardashian shared a photo of herself holding her infant son’s tiny hand. “Madly in love with my little Reign Aston Disick,” she wrote in the caption.

Since giving birth to Reign, Kardashian has shared her love for her son on Instagram. On his birthday in 2021, which he shares with Mason, she posted a carousel of photos of them both. “Happy birthday to my birthday twins five years apart,” she wrote. “I couldn’t have dreamed up anything like them for my sons, I feel so blessed and grateful for these two boys and all that they bring to my life.”

Reign has also had cameos on Hulu’s The Kardashians. Recently, in a July 2024 episode, Kardashian said that her son takes after his dad in terms of his sense of humor. "I'm starting to get a lot of vibes, like his dad," she joked in a confessional. "I think he's starting to get that sense of humor. I'm like, just what we need!"

Rocky Thirteen Barker

Kardashian announced her fourth pregnancy—with her current husband, the Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker—in an iconic way: at his June 2023 concert at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. Using the band’s 1999 music video for the song “All The Small Things” as inspiration, Kardashian held up a sign that read “Travis I'm Pregnant.” Barker then made his way to his wife and kissed her.

Kardashian’s fourth pregnancy journey was notably more difficult than with her first three children. Kardashian and Barker, who married in Italy in May 2022, first pursued conceiving a child via IVF; after about a year of trying that way, Kardashian took a break, revealing that the process was debilitating for her.

Instead, in a 2023 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the 45-year-old revealed that she got pregnant when she stopped trying. “It happened on Valentine's Day," she said. "I mean, people would always say to us, 'When you stop trying, it's just going to happen.”

"We stopped doing IVF probably two months before our wedding and so it took a year for all those hormones and chemicals to get out of my system," she continued. "[Travis and I] were not trying whatsoever. I wasn't even checking my ovulation anymore. We decided to put it in God's hands and thought it was just not happening. We were accepting of it and then... God's plan.

“It truly feels like a miracle being able to be pregnant and have a baby with the love of my life," she added.

Conceiving wasn’t the only challenge for Kardashian this time around. During her pregnancy, a scan revealed that she needed to have emergency fetal surgery, which she opened up about in an episode of The Kardashians. "I just feel so grateful [for] how everything played out and for the doctors that really helped make the best decisions that really saved our baby," she said. She also detailed her experience with the surgery on Instagram.

After sharing many glamorous moments from her pregnancy on social media, PEOPLE confirmed that Kardashian had welcomed her baby son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, on November 1, 2023, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

That next month, in December, Kardashian shared a photo carousel of herself, Barker, and their baby with the caption “ROCKY 🖤.” (According to Barker, the name is partially a nod to the 1976 boxing film of the same name.)

Although Kardashian and Barker have opted to keep their 9-month-old son’s face off of social media, for now, he has made a few adorable appearances in his parents’ arms.
