Famous Miss Peaches Reaches Another Adorable Milestone with Dave Portnoy
Anyone who's rescued a dog knows that progress comes in fits and starts. Sometimes it'll seem like no change has happened, while other times things move fast. That's even true for Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who showed the huge milestone his rescue Miss Peaches recently reached in a video online.
Miss Peaches has come so far from when Portnoy first adopted her in February.
Before her life of internet fame and fortune, Miss Peaches came from a neglect situation that left her with "patches of hair that were missing, itchy skin, and obvious signs of having had multiple litters of puppies," a video from the shelter where Portnoy adopted the pup from explained.

Understandably, Miss Peaches didn't exactly get to do the normal doggy things at her old home. But Portnoy has since changed that. Together they've been working on something that all dogs love — fetch.
"When my papa first picked me up I didn’t know how to chase a ball or play at all but now playing is one of my favorite things to do!" he wrote in a recent video's caption. "I even learned how to run after a ball! I love playing with my papa because he gets very excited whenever he sees me run and I like making papa happy!"
The footage shows Miss Peaches bopping up and down Portnoy's backyard rolling around on the ground with her various balls and stuffies. She even rolled around with her dog dad before plopping herself down on the grass. What a fun day out in the sun!
Miss Peaches Has Captured Everyone's Hearts
The scene was touching to Miss Peaches' many fans online. "This is undoubtedly the happiest Miss Peaches has been her whole life," wrote one person. "Remember when she didn’t even know how to play with toys?" someone else asked. "This is joy! I never thought she would run and play like that," another commenter agreed. "Miss Peaches found her 'zoomies' and it is beautiful!" cheered another person.
Life has been good to Miss Peaches since she was adopted by the social media mogul on February 14. Not only does Portnoy adore his new BFF, but he's treated her to some fancy new digs. Like a Gucci raincoat. Can you even imagine? Portnoy showed off Miss Peaches' new look in a video on March 4. She looked like a million bucks!
Of course, a fancy coat like that is a perk. But it's really the love and care that Portnoy gave her which has changed Miss Peaches' world.
