For just five days, Beyoncé is taking over one of Paris’s most historic bars. The pop superstar and her new whisky brand, SirDavis, have created a pop-up, the SirDavis Whisky Bar, in the Hôtel Plaza Athénée. The collaboration begins today.

The cocktail bar pop-up of course features SirDavis mixed drinks—but it also includes a special food menu. French Chef Jean Imbert, the Plaza Athénée’s famed head chef, prepared food pairings featuring “reimagined Texan flavors,” according to the press release. The French-Texan fusion menu, from one of Paris’s most esteemed chefs, is sure to be a unique experience.

Imbert has also crafted cocktails using SirDavis whisky, which blends both rye and barley. Beyoncé created the whisky in collaboration with Moët Hennessey—its tasting notes include toffee, cinnamon, clove, and rye spice. Those are followed by hints of biscuit and a citrus top note. Says the SirDavis website, “Hints of honey are encountered with a soft, lingering finish reminiscent of plump sultanas and ripe cherries.”

The pop-up will serve five cocktails using SirDavis, one of which is the Honey Bee, dubbed for Beyoncé’s oft-used nickname. This drink will use honey and lemon to balance out the whisky.

The pop superstar’s Plaza Athénée takeover kicked off on Sunday with a launch party. Though Beyoncé herself did not attend, celebrities like Lori Harvey, Ziwe, and Coco Rocha ventured to the Parisian hotel to try out the new cocktails and see the newly decorated space, made up to have Western touches.

The carpet looks like a cowhide rug and hunter green booths line the space. A big SirDavis sign is hung up towards the back of the room. And, the glass bar is filled to the brim with shelves of SirDavis. Bartenders are stamping cocktail-ready, large ice cubes with a horse icon.

However, loyalists for the Plaza Athénée’s classic bar ought not worry. The bar will return to its normal state on September 30, when Beyoncé’s pop-up comes to a close.
