Fluor-BWXT donates $19,100 to local 4-H members

PIKETON- Fluor-BWXT supported the hard work of 4-H members in our community, and this year continued the tradition of rewarding the children of our employees who take on market projects by supplying them with add-on bids to their final sale cost.

This year $19,100 was donated to 95 4-H members in Pike, Scioto, Ross, Jackson, Vinton, Adams, and Morgan counties. Pike County had the largest number of FBP 4-H members with 46, followed by Scioto County with 30 members.

“The 4-H programs in our community are a wonderful way to help children learn about responsibility and hard work, and we are happy to support the work they put into these projects,” said FBP President and CEO, Greg Wilkett.

The 4-H members and their parents are thankful for the support.

“I am thankful for companies like FBP that appreciate the importance of 4-H and how it helps us as we grow up to be more responsible and respectful of our work,” said 4-H member, Landon Remy.

Fluor-BWXT has donated more than $100,000 to 4-H members with market projects since 2017.
