Free root beer floats: A&W observes frosty treat day with giveaway

Fancy a frosty root beer float? Plan to get into an A&W restaurant on Aug. 6 for a free one.

The giveaway is to observe National Root Beer Float Day, while also benefiting disabled veterans. Visitors can get a free root beer float 2-8 p.m.

Customers can opt to donate to Disabled American Veterans.
