Gogglebox's Pete and Sophie demonstrate how they'd do on spy shows
Gogglebox spoilers follow.
Pete and Sophie were inspired to potentially change careers after watching a new streaming show on tonight's (May 19) episode of Gogglebox.
The cast of the Channel 4 series sat down to catch up on this week's TV, with the brother-sister duo encouraged to try out their spy reflexes after watching Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Amazon Prime's action thriller series Citadel.
While watching Citadel's characters ski down mountains and get caught in shoot-outs with international crime lords, the armchair critics wondered how they would fare as spies.

Impressed by Priyanka's sleight of hand and impressive gun skills, Sophie reached for the TV remote control to see if she could pull off the same moves.
"Let's see if we can do that gun manoeuvre where she just..." she began.
Sophie then paused to inform her brother what she was about to do. She instructed him: "Don't even look at this. Just see if you can catch it."
She threw the remote control a split second later, hoping Pete's dormant spy skills would suddenly surface.

Pete missed it in his hand but managed to scoop it into his chest, letting out a yelp of pain as it hit him with force.
Laughing at their failed attempt to flair weapons, Sophie said: "We'd be shit [spies]. We'd be dead."
Pete offered directional advice, and the duo attempted it a second time. In a smooth transaction, the siblings perfected their spy moves, with Pete catching Sophie's throw of the remote control without looking.
He celebrated by making gun and laser noises as if he were shooting villains.

Elsewhere on tonight's episode, Giles also enjoyed Citadel, comparing it to Thunderbirds. Meanwhile, Izzy Warner doubted the on-screen duo's skills after Richard's character engaged in a heavy hand-to-hand combat fight after falling down a mountain.
"I'm sorry, but you would be able to do that with all those injuries," Izzy said.
Her sister Ellie Warner agreed, saying: "I mean, it has taken me over a year to get over a sprained ankle."
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
