Golf Roundup: John Glenn third at Warrior Invite

The high school season is underway, and here is a stop for this week's area results:

Monday's results

John Glenn third at Warrior Invite: The Muskies totaled 311 to finish behind Newark Catholic with 304 and Pickerington North with 310 at Cumberland Trail.

Noah Dever was overall medalist with a 3-under 69, and the John Glenn scoring was rounded out by CJ Dolan's 75, JT Orecchio's 83, and Cooper Briggs' 84.

Gress leads RV to Coshocton County Cup: Gavin Gress fired a 1-under-par 71 for medalist honors at River Greens, as the Black Bears shot 352 to Ridgewood's 404 and Coshocton's 415.

Caleb Kline shot 74, Reid Johnson 99 and Greer Johnson 108 for RV; Kyle Johnson carded a 90, Wade Thompson a 98, Vince Menapace a 99, and Conrad Robinson 117 for the Generals; and Bransyn Dawson had an 84, Zach Fink 106, Jerison Spain 109 and Tristan Hartmeyer 115 for the Redskins.

Tri-Valley 161, Rosecrans 208: Nash Baughman fired a 35, as the Scotties topped the Bishops at Jaycees.

Gavin Harrold shot 40 and Jou Chow and Cale Preston added 43s for Tri-Valley.

Evan Bauer's 47 led Rosecrans, while Cohen Todd added a 50, Jordan Joseph a 55 and Andy Solt a 56.

Sheridan 162, Amanda-Clearcreek 186: Canyon Daly and Liam Gutridge shared co-medalist honors with 40s at Coyote Run.

Wyatt Satterfield and Owen Cains chipped in 41s for the Generals.

Ridgewood girls 185, River View 236: Brynn Harstine took medalist honors with 38, as the Generals won at River Greens.

Jacey Hess chipped in a 41, Josie Stanton shot 50 and Zoe Martin added a 56 for Ridgewood, while Kortnee Mickle paced the Lady Bears with a 40, while Addyson Blair added a 55, Shieann Waldren 67 and Carlie Stottlemire 74.

Cambridge sixth after Buckeye 8 tournament: The Bobcats shot 373 to sit sixth out of 11 teams after the first round of the Buckeye 8 Golf Tournament at the Cadiz Country Club.

Mason Gregg paced the Bobcats an 88 followed by Jax VanDyne with a 90, Garrett Carpenter with a 95 and Gavin Guiler with a 100.

TV girls fourth at own invite: The Lady Scotties placed fourth out of 14 teams on Friday at their home tournament, The Lady Dawg Invitational with a score of 374.

Regan Shirer shot an 88, Anna Derwacter an 89, Gwyn Dal Ponte a 95, and Lexie Geyer a 102 for TV.
