Gordon Ramsay Announces Major Family Update
Gordon Ramsay is welcoming a new member to his family, and he couldn't be happier about it.
The celeb chef made a huge announcement via Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 12: His 24-year-old daughter Holly is engaged to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
Gordon shared a sweet photo of himself and Holly, along with a shot of Holly showing off her engagement ring and another pic of Holly and Peaty smiling for the camera.
"Congratulations to this gorgeous girl @hollyramsayy….so happy for you and @adam_peaty ! Hols, watching you become the woman you are today with your kindness and your love is absolutely infectious…Adam is a very lucky man ! Welcome to the family ❤️One down, two to go 😂," the Master Chef host captioned his post, referring to his other two daughters, Megan, 26, and Tilly, 22. (Gordon and wife Tana also share three sons, Jack, 24, Oscar, 5, and Jesse James, 10 months.)
In the comments, fans congratulated both the happy couple and Gordon, with some joking about what life will be like for Peaty with the star as a father-in-law.
"Hope he knows how to cook Scrambled Eggs 🙏," wrote one Instagram user.
"God help the chef at the wedding," cracked another person, with someone else saying "this calls for celebratory lamb sauce."
Holly and Peaty, 29, have been dating for three years, according to Us Weekly.
Peaty, who won the mixed 4×100-meter medley relay in 2020, made headlines over the summer when he complained about the quality of the food in the Olympic village in Paris...perhaps he's already learned a thing or two about fine cuisine from his future father-in-law.
