The Federal Aviation Administration reported there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving at Newark International Airport. Officials are looking into possible radar outages.
There are current general departure delays, gate holds and taxi delays. Other general airborne arrival delays are longer than two hours.
Teterboro Airport had grounded flights as well for what officials said was an equipment issue.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. FAA Air Traffic Control has implemented a traffic management program at EWR. This is delaying arriving flights, and departing flight schedules are affected. Please check with your airline to determine the status of your flight. *AM
