Guest “View” cohost Chelsea Clinton says Donald Trump is 'scared' of Kamala Harris: 'And he should be'

The daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton speculated on Trump's level of fear against Harris as she joined "The View" as a guest cohost.

The View has welcomed former first daughter Chelsea Clinton to the Hot Topics table to weigh in on the state of American politics.

The daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton filled in for regular panelist Sunny Hostin on Thursday's live show, where she estimated that Donald Trump is quaking in the wake of Kamala Harris' domination across Tuesday night's presidential debate.

Clinton responded after cohost Joy Behar called Trump's projection that he won the debate "just another lie" and "another made-up thing," prompting Clinton to say it's all a sign that Trump fears Harris overtaking him at the polls in November.

"Because he knows he lost, he knows he lost his cool, he knows she got under his skin, and he knows she's on the right side of what most Americans want our country to be," Clinton said. "He's scared — and he should be."

Behar agreed with Clinton, saying, "He's very scared" and that "you can see" it on his face.

Fellow View host Ana Navarro also took aim at Trump and his debate performance on live TV, as she appeared Wednesday night on CNN to assess the former president's handling of sensitive topics during the matchup with Harris — specifically his widely debunked debate claim that Haitian migrants ate citizens' pets in Springfield, Ohio.

"Yesterday, when he said that, he wasn’t being sarcastic, he wasn’t being hyperbolic, he was amplifying a conspiracy theory that I think you would agree puts a target on the backs of Haitian immigrants and that it is based on racism, would you agree on that?" Navarro asked, staring down fellow commentator Scott Jennings, who sat in silence and refused to immediately answer Navarro's question.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/PT on ABC.
