Halle Bailey can't wait to introduce her son to the magic of a Disney vacation.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, the singer and actress, 24, opens up about eventually taking her baby son Halo to a Disney theme park — but only when he is old enough to fully appreciate it.

"I'm so excited to take him to Disneyland and Disney World for the first time," says Bailey, who is a Disney princess herself after starring as Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

"But, I want him to be old enough to know what's going on," she continues. "So I'm like, 'What's the best age [to bring him?'], and people keep telling me three or four is just a good age, because they will know what's up."

Bailey, who has teamed up with the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase for the new Bold Chat Court contest, says her baby boy has already been on vacation with her.

"He is the best travel partner," she says of son Halo, whom she welcomed in December 2023 with boyfriend DDG, 26.

"It's so cool to be able to see him get excited about the place that we're in and try the food and like it — because he's eating real food now," she adds. "It's so cool to see."

As for how Halo is while traveling at such a young age, Bailey says that she never has to worry about him being uncomfortable or throwing a fit.

"He's actually really good on the plane," she explains. "I think it's because I've had him on planes since he was really small, so he's used to it."

"He'll look out the window. He's just so happy, and he'll be, like, babbling loud," continues the musician, who is one-half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle.

Bailey knows the importance of family vacations within her own brood, and that notion extends to her siblings — Chloe, Ski and Branson — who she tells PEOPLE she likes to take trips with as well.

"We love going on sibling trips," she says, adding that sometimes it can be hard to map out a getaway.

"Chloe and I are always flying around the world, so it's so hard for us to hone in on a particular date for all of us to be available," she explains.

"But Thanksgiving is coming up, Christmas is coming up, and I feel like we all have those weekends where we can be like, 'Okay, we're going to do something. Let's all go somewhere together,' " says Bailey.
