Hallmark's "Queen of Christmas" Lacey Chabert Is Celebrating a Career Milestone
Hallmark movies are something we always look forward to, especially during the holiday season. After all, their seasonal flicks are the perfect things to watch curled up in a cozy blanket with a cup of cocoa or a cocktail. And while we love seeing so many familiar faces reappear in new Christmas movies, there's no one we look forward to more than Lacey Chabert.
The "Queen of Christmas" is no stranger to Hallmark's many movies featured during their yearly Countdown to Christmas event, but she recently revealed a huge career milestone with the network. In a clip shared on CBS's The Talk Instagram page, the 41-year-old revealed she just finished filming her 40th film for Hallmark. The Mean Girls alum revealed the major news while at the afternoon show, where she talked about wrapping up the recent milestone project that filmed in Iceland, the gorgeous scenery she got to enjoy with costar Kristoffer Polaha and more about the "incredible" environment.
The clip, which was shared by the talk show, had Hallmark fans eagerly rushing to the comments to share their happiness and accolades for the Party of Five actress' big accomplishment.
"Fav Hallmark queen! 😍🙌," one fan wrote. "[I] think I have probably seen most of them too 😂 love Hallmark movies," another chimed in. "Lacey Chabert is the Queen and Mrs. Christmas of Hallmark 😍. Love every movie of her ❤️," a different person wrote. Someone else said, "Love all your movies. #1 Hallmark actress ❤️."
Lacey and Kristoffer, another Hallmark favorite, are starring as love interests in the upcoming movie The Christmas Quest, a "romantic-adventure movie" premiering just in time for the Hallmark Channel to celebrate its 15th anniversary of "Countdown to Christmas. According to People, Lacey "plays an archeologist who is sent to Iceland around the holidays with her ex-husband (Kristoffer), an expert in ancient Norse languages to search for a legendary treasure." As the story unfolds, it seems the two will embark on more than one adventure together — and we simply can't wait to see it.
No premiere date has been released, but we know that it's due to drop anytime after October 18, when Countdown to Christmas 2024 officially kicks off.
