Heat doesn't keep hundreds from kite festival for playground

Aug. 24—The second annual Let Inclusion Fly Kite Festival took place Saturday as a fundraiser for the All Together Albert Lea Inclusive Playground.

Large kites were brought in through Great American Kites & Events of Missouri for the event, and there were also other family activities, including a dunk tank, raffle, face painting, a ring toss and food for people to enjoy.

The event comes as the All Together committee is in the final stages of fundraising for the playground, which will be built yet this fall.
