Heath Ledger’s Daughter Matilda Is the Spitting Image of the Late Actor in Rare Sighting

Matilda Ledger was photographed in New York City this week, and her resemblance to her late father, actor Heath Ledger, is undeniable.

On Wednesday, the 18-year-old was seen walking hand-in-hand with her mom, Michelle Williams, as the two enjoyed some sweet time together. Paparazzi who snapped the series of images said the mother-daughter duo was leaving a nail salon in Brooklyn, where they had each gotten both a manicure and a pedicure when they were spotted together.

For the pamper session, Matilda kept it casual as she sported a white t-shirt, white baggy track pants a black tote and matching Adidas sneakers. The 43-year-old Dawson's Creek alum opted for a more vibrant look in a yellow printed crepe mini dress from BODE ($950), a pair of black shades, a lime green netted tote and brown leather sandals.

Matilda was only a toddler when her father suddenly passed away on Jan. 22, 2008. In the 16 years since his death, much of her life remains private as she doesn't seem all that interested in following her parents' path to celebrity status.

Not much is known about the freshly minted adult, as she's so dedicated to keeping a low profile that she doesn't even appear to have a public social media account–making this sweet on-camera moment with her mom all that more special.

As for the Venom star, she's now married to director Thomas Kail, with whom she shares two children and the couple keeps much of their personal life behind the scenes. Her recent narration of Britney Spears' memoir, The Woman in Me, has been dubbed some of her "best work" by fans.
