When will the heat wave break?

The National Weather Service has a heat advisory in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m. for all of North Jersey because of the hot temperatures and high humidity.

For the Hackensack area, the NWS forecasts highs of 94 degrees on Wednesday, 95 on Thursday and 93 on Friday before the high temperature dips below 90 degrees on Saturday.
