Can Biden vote for his father?

Felon voting rights across the country vary from state to state.

If Biden, 54, is registered to vote in Delaware, where a federal jury convicted him, the odds of him being able to vote in November are low. Convicted felons can only vote after the entirety of their sentence is completed. Biden is facing a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison but will likely face a much lower sentence due to his lack of a criminal record.

Biden has lived in multiple cities but recently settled in Malibu, according to the LA Times. In California, Biden has a better chance of getting to vote for his father. The state allows felons to vote as long as they aren't currently serving time in a facility.

Biden has resided in various states but has recently settled in Malibu, California, as reported by the LA Times. In California, Biden's opportunity to vote for his father is enhanced, as the state permits felons to vote provided they are not currently incarcerated.

The judge presiding over Biden's case has yet to set a date for the businessman's sentencing. He estimates it would take around four months, with a possible date in October. This means that in California, Biden would be able to take advantage of early voting to cast a ballot before his sentencing.
