Insomnia Cookies on its way to Cherry Hill

You want cookies? You will soon have your pick.

The signs have started to go up, so the time is drawing near: Insomnia Cookies is opening a location in Cherry Hill.

The site is 1006 Haddonfield Road, near First Watch and Sherwood Avenue. It will be located in a building previously occupied by FastSigns.

Insomnia Cookies, which touts itself as a late-night bakery concept, has more than 250 locations nationwide, according to its website.

A company spokesperson confirmed that the location will “open within the next few weeks.”

The website lists New Jersey locations in Ewing, New Brunswick and Hoboken, multiple places in New York City and Philadelphia, but nothing in South Jersey. The Cherry Hill location comes up on the site as “coming soon.”

According to information on its website, Insomnia Cookies is based in Philadelphia and got its start at the University of Pennsylvania.

Seth Berkowitz, a Penn student at the time, founded the concept, which offers cookies, ice cream and other sweet treats in store, for local delivery and nationwide shipping, it says.

Some of the cookie flavors include chocolate chunk, matcha latte, oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate macadamia,

Deluxe cookie flavors include: confetti, oatmeal chocolate walnut, salted caramel, and chocolate peanut butter cup,

S’mores, and triple chocolate.brownies are also available.

Late night deliveries are available until 1 a.m. or later, the site says.
