Justin Timberlake has no rehab plans after DWI bust, apologizes to tour crew: reports

Justin Timberlake has no plans to go to rehab following his drunken-driving bust in the Hamptons — but has since issued an apology to his behind-the-stage crew and “acted like a boss” taking accountability for himself, according to reports.

The “Cry Me A River” crooner remains laser-focused on his world tour following his DWI arrest Tuesday morning in Sag Harbor — and plans to stray from the typical Hollywood playbook that would involve tidying up his image by going to rehab, sources told TMZ.

While voluntarily attending treatment could put Timberlake in a better position for a plea deal, the pop star seemed mostly concerned about his work, apparently telling one of the cops arresting him: “This is going to ruin the tour.’’

The 43-year-old dad of two reassured his crew members that his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour would go on during a lengthy conference call in the hours after his early morning arrest, sources told The Sun.

The tour crew was worried as Timberlake’s arrest “wasn’t the best thing to happen” with the upcoming show this summer, but the pop star acted as a “very solid leader” during the call and ended up “owning” the situation, the source said.

“He made sure that this arrest didn’t create tension in the crew, he reacted like a boss, like someone who owns his s–t,” the source added.

“He said sorry for bringing this kind of attention to the team. Everyone was happy to hear what he said.”

A second insider told the outlet the “SexyBack” singer was determined to continue with the tour.

“We were quickly told nothing was going to change,” the person said. “He is a responsible guy who made a mistake.”

Timberlake was pulled over in Sag Harbor, Long Island, just after midnight Tuesday and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was also cited for running a stop sign and failure to keep in his lane, court documents show.

He told arresting officers he had just “one martini, and I followed my friends home’’ — while refusing three times to take a Breathalyzer test.

He also allegedly told arresting officers, who did not recognize the singer, that the incident would “ruin the tour.”

The married dad of two has acknowledged previous issues with “excessive drinking,” but tried and failed to pass field sobriety tests, according to court documents.

He faces up to a year in Suffolk County jail if convicted of the DWI rap.
