Kathie Lee Gifford has fully recovered from her slip and fall accident that left her with a fractured pelvis as she was still recovering from a planned hip replacement surgery.

The TV personality and author appeared on Today's Tuesday morning broadcast to share the pleasant update and further details on her recovery. While speaking with the current stars of the former talk show she used to host, Gifford revealed her speedy recovery was unlike anything her medical team had seen, calling it "a miracle."

Gifford, who turns 71 later this week, recalled how just two weeks after being discharged from the hospital and using a walker to get around at her little farm in Tennessee, one day she realized she was no longer in discomfort despite "cracking" her pelvis in two places. At this point, she said she was not taking any medicine for the pain so she called her doctor, asking, "shouldn't I be in a lot of pain?"

She said her doctor confirmed that, yes, she "should" still be in pain and then advised another round of X-rays. Gifford explained that she went in this past Thursday for the test and said both she and her doctor were surprised by the results.

"And I know hundreds of thousands of people have been praying for me because I heard from them," the author shared during the Aug. 13 episode. "And you guys, I'm telling you right now, he [the doctor] comes in with the X-ray and he goes, 'Look at this Kathie, you want to see your X-ray?'"

"I go, 'That's my X-ray?!' He goes, 'Yeah, you're completely healed. You are cured.'" Gifford added that her doctor is "incredible" and a "man of god," but still, he "doesn't see that very often."

She even remembered him dubbing it "a miracle," telling her, "'You are healed, it is a miracle, and now, you can have one glass of wine if you want."

Gifford's pelvis isn't the only part of her that's been restored, as her spirit appears to be back intact as well, going on to joke, "I fell off the best seller list when I fell down the stairs."
