'Kelly Clarkson Show' Fans Declare the Host's Latest Cover "Her Song"

Is there any song cover that Kelly Clarkson doesn't knock out of the ballpark? Judging from her continued success with the "Kellyoke" segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, it doesn't seem like it!

The daytime TV host once again proved her incredible vocal talent while on the air for the July 18 episode of the NBC series. While she's lately covered iconic songs from both her catalog and 1980s bands, Kelly dove into the indie rock genre with a version of The Last Dinner Party's 2023 single "Nothing Matters."

As Kelly appeared on the stage wearing a long-sleeved gingham dress and her blonde hair styled into sleek waves, she stunned the audience with her unique take on the track. What's more, when she hit the high notes of the song, people couldn't help but be amazed at her vocal range.

"'Nothing Matters' Kellyoke 🎶," read the caption in a clip posted on TikTok.

When the snippet of Kelly's latest cover began circulating the internet, folks immediately were shocked by how she managed to make the song her own.

"Well it's her song now rip last dinner party," one person wrote in the TikTok comments. "Kelly Clarkson is what the world needs … always," another declared. "Oh boy, the shivers when she hits those high notes 😍 Absolute perfection 🤩," a different follower added.

No matter which song Kelly pulls out for The Kelly Clarkson Show, she always manages to add her signature flavor to it. And it's no surprise people loved this cover, as she's managed to cause a stir with her song choices over the last few months.

Starting back in May, she dove into her own music catalog with more mature versions of "Behind These Hazel Eyes"and "Beautiful Disaster (Live)." What's more, she embraced the decade she was born in with a cover of Aerosmith's "Angel"in early July.
