Kent Jaycees plan '50s-theme event Feb. 9

Kent Jaycees will present Swingin' into the '50s Reverse Raffle from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 9 at Bell Tower Brewing Co., 310 Park Ave. in Kent.

Tickets are $100, which includes an open bar and 1950s diner-themed food — hors d'oeuvres, entrée, appetizers, dessert — and a chance to win $3,000 and other prizes. Attendees are encouraged to wear 1950s-style attire.

The reverse raffle will end at 10 p.m., and the Jaycees will also host an after-party at a location to be determined in downtown Kent that will begin at 10:30 p.m.
