KFC Has a New Chicken Sandwich on the Menu

Crispy chicken sandwich lovers have come to expect new iterations of their favorite sandwich to come and go quickly as feuding fast-food restaurants vie for their attention.

In the past few months, McDonald’s released the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy, and Popeyes dropped the Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Last July, KFC introduced a new limited-time chicken sandwich, the Ultimate BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich.

It's worth mentioning that the war isn’t restricted to traditional sandwiches. There’s a side skirmish happening with crispy chicken wraps, too. (According to Allrecipes writer Ann Walczak, the unassuming Jack in the Box is currently winning.)

Now, KFC is introducing a new limited-time crispy chicken sandwich alongside a fantastic deal. For the next six weeks, KFC customers can enjoy this latest offering, as well as KFC’s permanent chicken sandwiches, at an unbeatable half-off price.

KFC’s New Saucy Chicken Sandwich

Inspired by its Saucy Nuggets introduced this past spring, KFC launched the new Saucy Sandwich earlier this month. The sandwich takes the Classic Chicken Sandwich and smothers it with a new Honey BBQ Sauce, serving it on a brioche bun with pickles and the Colonel’s mayo. Chicken sandwich lovers can also opt for Honey Sriracha Sauce or Korean BBQ Sauce on their saucy sandwich.

Between now and Aug. 25, customers who order on KFC's app or website can get 50 percent off the new Honey BBQ Saucy Chicken Sandwich and the classic and spicy versions of KFC’s chicken sandwich.

While there’s a limit of one deal per transaction, KFC lovers can still enjoy a chicken sandwich once a day for half off by ordering through KFC's app or website.
