BELLE GLADE — Authorities have identified a man who was killed on Labor Day in Belle Glade.

Investigators say David Robinson died in a shooting that occurred early on the morning of Sept. 2 on the 300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard East, about one-third of a mile northeast of City Hall. Upon arriving on scene, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies found Robinson and another man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The second man, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, the sheriff's office said. Detectives are working to identify a suspect and a motive.

How a Boynton woman will pay: She fatally shot a man during a motel parking lot dispute.

The sheriff's office did not provide either an age or a place of residence for Robinson.
