What you need to know about NASCAR Weekend at Watkins Glen International

For the 41st time, NASCAR's top series will compete at Watkins Glen International with Sunday afternoon's Cup Series race, the Go Bowling at The Glen.

This will be the first time Watkins Glen is one of the playoff races for the series. The race returns to its customary August spot on the schedule in 2025.

Friday's Schedule

1 to 1:30 p.m.: Historic Sportscar Racing NASCAR Classic practice

2 to 3 p.m.: ARCA Menards Series practice

3:15 to 3:35 p.m.: ARCA Menards Series qualifying

4 to 4:30 p.m.: HSR NC qualifying

5 p.m.: General Tire 100 at The Glen, ARCA Menards Series race (41 laps, 100.45 miles)

8:30 to 9 a.m.: Historic Sportscar Racing NASCAR Classic race

9:30 to 9:50 a.m.: NASCAR Xfinity Series practice

10 to 11 a.m.: Xfinity Series qualifying

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: NASCAR Cup Series practice

1 to 2 p.m.: Cup Series qualifying (multi-vehicle, two rounds)

3 p.m.: Mission 200 at The Glen, Xfinity Series race (200.9 miles; 82 laps; stages 20/40)

6:15 to 6:45 p.m.: HSR NC race

Sunday's Schedule

2:20 p.m.: Driver introductions

3 p.m.: Go Bowling at The Glen, NASCAR Cup Series race (220.5 miles; 90 laps; stages 20/40)

Watkins Glen NASCAR Weekend TV Information

  • The Mission 200 at The Glen and the Go Bowling at The Glen will both be televised live on USA Network and stream on NBC Sports. Practice and qualifying for each will stream on NBC Sports.

  • The ARCA Menards Series race will be televised live on FS1.
