Hurricane Helene forces postponement of Friday's Knoxville area football games. Here's when they'll play

Knox County Schools has canceled classes for Sept. 26 because of expected heavy rain and high winds.

All extracurricular activities are postponed, including Friday night football games featuring KCS schools on Sept. 27.

Postponed games from Knox County include:

  • Knoxville Carter at Anderson County

  • Bearden at Farragut

  • Knoxville Fulton at Karns

  • South-Doyle at Knoxville Central

  • Heritage at Knoxville West

  • Hardin Valley at Maryville

  • Austin-East at Pigeon Forge

  • Knoxville Halls at Powell

New times for all postponed Knoxville area football games

Bearden at Farragut, Saturday, 6 p.m.

Campbell County at Daniel Boone, Saturday, 12 p.m.

Hardin Valley Academy at Maryville, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Heritage at West, Saturday, 3 p.m.

South-Doyle at Knoxville Central, Saturday, 2 p.m.
