Here are the Knoxville area football games moved to later times due to heat in Week 2

Several Tennessee high school football games will be played at a later time due to the heat this week. Temperatures are forecasted to reach as high as 96 and 97 degrees on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Below are the Knoxville area games that have moved from their original 7 p.m. start time for Week 2 of the 2024 TSSAA football season

Cocke County at Gatlinburg-Pittman, 7:30 p.m.

Loudon at Lenoir City, 7:30 p.m.

Friday

Austin-East at Carter, 7:30 p.m.

Campbell County at Fulton, 7:30 p.m.

Cleveland at McMinn County, 7:30 p.m.

Jellico at Oakdale, 7:30 p.m.

Farragut at Powell, 7:30 p.m.

Maryville at Knoxville Central, 7:30 p.m.

Sequoyah at Tellico Plains, 7:30 p.m.

South-Doyle at Heritage, 7:30 p.m.
