At 23% Off on Amazon, I Know This New 4D “House of the Dragon” Puzzle Is Going to Sell Out

The latest season finale of House of the Dragon left us fans wanting more—but sadly, it will be a while before we get new episodes of the Game of Thrones prequel on Max.

In the meantime, though, there’s a brand-new House of the Dragon puzzle kit that brings the best part of the show to life—the dragons, of course. Even better: The set is $60, but Amazon has it on sale for 23 percent off right now. (That means it’s currently under $50!)

This dimensional jigsaw puzzle contains 350 pieces you can put together without glue—and once done, you’ll have display-worthy versions of Seasmoke, Vhagar, and Meleys for your shelves. When completed, the dragons stand 8 inches tall, with Vhagar being the tallest, of course. (We won’t judge if you yell “Dracarys!” when you walk past them.)

How do you assemble them? Much like a regular puzzle, except these pieces don’t come loose—instead, they’re sheets that you punch out. Once you figure out how they fit together, the dragons come to life before your eyes. The best part is that even though these are scale models, you don’t need to use glue or tools to assemble them—so it’s easy to right any wrongs you make along the way.

I was sent a set to build, and the trio is already looming large over my bookshelves. The instruction booklet was pretty clear (though I’ll admit not as straightforward as Lego instructions), and it took me about an hour to assemble each dragon. There were a few pieces that I had to take apart because I put them together wrong—but once you get it right, the results are pretty darn cool.

The pieces are thicker than a standard puzzle, and a few are a little delicate—so this puzzle is definitely designed for older teens and adults, not little kids. Also, word to the wise: Don’t let your cat near your completed puzzle, or you’ll be doing some reassembling—or maybe even grabbing the dreaded kragle for wing repair.
