Aftermath of Black Cat's Chicken Thievery Straight From Stove Has People Cackling

Even though every individual pet has a personality all their own, there's no doubt that cats are known for trickery, chaos, and theft. Whether they're knocking over glasses full of water or climbing up the curtains with their claws, our feline friends will never run out of ways to indulge their curiosity--especially when it comes to food!

On May 20, cat owner Kenzi treated her TikTok followers to the funniest video of her black kitty, Binx. This guy is no stranger to the camera or to causing mischief around the house, but even he knew he was taking a big risk when he stole a piece of chicken straight from the stove.

Believe me--the moment is just as gasp-worthy as it sounds. This sneaky cat wastes zero time chowing down on the chicken leg while Kenzi tries to get it back amid her pure shock. You'll just have to see it for yourself!

LOL! Binx the black cat is one sneaky boy! That was a daring move he made, but that look in his eyes tells me he doesn't regret it one bit. Other commenters can see it too!

"They knew they were on a time limit," agreed @hexxxgurl. No kidding! As soon as Kenzi could hold him by the scruff of his neck (which is a painless, harmless, and perfectly acceptable way to hold a cat in a pinch), he held that drumstick with both paws and ate so quickly. It's like he was trying to win an eating competition!

The comment section of this video is just as golden as the video itself, and it's nice to see other people getting so much entertainment and joy out of a hungry cat. If you ask me, cat videos are going to be around for a long, long time.

Black Cat Personalities

Another thing that commenters seemed to have in common is their experience with 'demonic' black cats. While one person shared that their own black cat named Binx is a tiny terror, another person was flat-out traumatized by theirs.

@Noweille wrote: "One time, at 3 am, I heard my black cat growling with a chicken bone between his teeth, and I legit thought it was my sleep paralysis demon. But, eh, same thing." OMG! Now, that is something I would think about before bed every night for the rest of my life. It's no secret that cats are crepuscular, meaning they're most active at dawn and dusk, but no one expects their kitty to be doing something that odd.

After adding Binx's chicken dinner to the data, results still seem to imply that black cats are smart, playful, and affectionate. They do seem to have a penchant for chaos, however--but what cat doesn't?
