Al Roker has named his celebrity "crush"—and it's a comedian he admitted he "adores."

The longtime Today star took to Instagram on Monday, Sept. 30 to share a photo of himself chatting with a recent guest who visited the show, and in doing so, he made it known that the TV personality is his "comedy crush."

In the picture, he can be seen smiling at Saturday Night Live alum Kate McKinnon, seemingly listening to her as she spoke to him during a break on-set.

"I adore Kate McKinnon. She is my #comedycrush Her inventive goofiness and goodness shines through. And is genuinely nice," the broadcaster captioned the post.

Fans in the comment section couldn't help but join in gushing over the Barbie actress.

"I adore her!! She makes me laugh so hard… it’s healing!!" one agreed with Roker, while another noticed, "She seems really special. And obviously so funny!"

"I love Kate McKinnon. She is hilarious♥️," a third chimed in, as several more echoed the sentiment that they also "love her."

"She is a gem," someone else complimented, in part.

The 70-year-old famed weatherman also shared a collection of snapshots from another special moment during the show, when McKinnon had the opportunity to meet Hanson.

"On the #3rdhourtoday @todayshow #worldscollide Case study #367 That time Kate McKinnon got to meet her favorite band in middle school @hanson @taylorhanson @zachanson @isaachanson," Roker wrote in the caption of a follow-up post. It featured several snapshots of the band playing, as well as the actress/comedian shaking members' hands, and the whole crew posing together for a photo.
