If Charli xcx's Brat is still filling up your playlists, you may be well-prepared for an emergency.

The American Heart Association recently declared Charli's hit "360" as well as Brat deluxe track "Spring Breakers" as the correct tempo for hands-only CPR — a.k.a. cardiopulmonary resuscitation without mouth-to-mouth breaths — as both songs feature 120 beats per minute.

"It's not #BratSummer unless you're bumpin' the beat of '360' by @charli_xcx to remember the tempo for Hands-Only CPR," wrote the organization in an Instagram post shared Aug. 27. "If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest."

Fans expressed excitement toward the information in the comments section, with some pointing to the song's fitting lyrics. "ah that’s what she meant when she said, 'i’m tectonic, moves, i make em, shock you like DEFIBRILLATORS.'”

However, one Charli fan stressed that they "better not get this confused with '365,'" a faster-paced rework of "360" that closes the Brat album.

A few days after sharing the initial information, the American Heart Association took to Instagram once again to post about "Spring Breakers" fitting the criteria for hands-only CPR. "We aren’t ready for brat summer to end! Thanks to @CharliXCX for the vibe and for this lifesaving beat," read the caption.

In the past, the Bee Gees' “Stayin’ Alive” has notably served as the go-to reference song for hands-only CPR. Recently, the American Heart Association named songs including Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department," Sabrina Carpenter's "Please Please Please," Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" and Beyoncé's "Riiverdance" as suitable for the life-saving act.

Since its June 7 release, Charli's sixth album Brat has created a cultural movement that's even made its way to U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris's 2024 presidential campaign.

"kamala IS brat," posted the pop star via X (formerly Twitter) on July 21, prompting Harris's team to utilize the Brat aesthetic for the campaign.

After scoring four Billboard Hot 100 hits with Brat tracks "360," "Girl, So Confusing," "Guess" and "Apple," plus performing several sold-out promotional shows in support of the album, Charli took to social media on Monday, Sept. 2 and declared, "goodbye forever brat summer."

The following day, however, she appeared to tease upcoming content with Troye Sivan on X ahead of their co-headlining Sweat Tour, which kicks off Sept. 14 and continues through Oct. 23.
