Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan is giving a glimpse of life with his baby daughter, Princess Iman.

On Aug. 19, the Crown Prince of Jordan, 30, posted a photo of his relatable Monday morning with his first child, who was born on Aug. 3. The shot showed Crown Prince Hussein in his military fatigues holding Princess Iman as he stood in a sunny bedroom. Princess Iman was dressed in a matching pink onesie and hat, and Crown Prince Hussein held her close with a blue and white patterned animal blanket.

"The best morning before work," Hussein captioned the snap in Arabic on Instagram. "With my precious one," he wrote in English.

Crown Prince Hussein and his wife, Princess Rajwa, became first-time parents when Princess Iman was born, and his social media post mentioned that he was already back to work. On June 6, a few weeks before his 30th birthday, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Hussein was promoted to the rank of major in the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army.

It's a royal tradition for heirs to the throne to gain military experience, and Crown Prince Hussein is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, like Prince William and Prince Harry.

The Jordanian royal family expanded when Princess Iman was born on Aug. 3, making Queen Rania and King Abdullah first-time grandparents. While the Royal Hashemite Court confirmed shortly after that the child would be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, receiving a princess title and HRH styling as expected, she did not enter into the line of succession.

The throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is hereditary to male descendents of King Abdullah Ibn Al-Hussein, meaning that Crown Prince Hussein is still followed in line by his younger brother Prince Hashem, 19. Their sisters, 27-year-old Princess Iman and 23-year-old Princess Salma, are not in the line of succession.

Iman is an Arabic name meaning "belief" and "faith," and Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa's name inspiration may have come from his younger sister. Hussein and his sister Iman had a sweet sibling moment when he walked her down the aisle at her royal wedding to Jameel Thermiotis in March 2023, and Princess Iman tenderly held her newborn niece when her family visited the hospital after the baby's birth.
